Pumpkin Landscapes

 

First Grade students created pumpkins landscapes that included a foreground, middle ground and background. They learned that objects in the foreground are the largest with most detail. They learned that as objects get further away, they look smaller with less detail. Students learned that artists draw landscapes with a foreground, middle ground and background to show depth and distance in their artwork.
